Can’t get enough 101

Miso bowlMy current click-to bookmark for kitchen concoctions is Heidi Swanson’s 101 Cookbooks. Latest taste bud perk-ups: the many different ways I can concoct a Miso Bowl. Right now I hanker for cilantro, green onion, chili flakes, tofu, soba noodles and avocado chunks. Amano organic miso paste (try Shiro or Mugi) is local and beyond tasty. And I can’t forget Swanson’s out of this world Triple Ginger Cookies. Ground star anise and lemon zest take triple ginger to an entirely different level. The mouth feel tops my previous go-to triple G recipe.
