Tick tock. A shot of vitamin D this week has me longing for the day I break out the sandals and ride my bike in a sundress. In the spirit of warmer days, I recently blended together Food & Drink’s Sorbetini to much delight. I made a cane sugar lemon sorbet in the trusty old ice cream maker my friends used to take a turn at churning on birthday parties of yore.
After this sneak peak into the world of summer sippin’, I bookmarked a few other recipes that will definitely debut this summer when we entertain. #1 is Blackberry Limeade (on its own as a quencher, with a splash of gin for happy hour). Last summer was all about Thyme Lemonade with gin. Infusing a simple syrup with fresh herbs from your potted garden is quite simply heaven!
